  After years of purchasing my products at PetSmart in hoover because I love the people that work here, I have been scammed by a horrible counting error. Today I bought roughly about 50 to 60 shrimp as I normally do and was charged for over a hundred of them. I asked the agent to recount, and he did and reduced the number the about to to 80. Again, I've bought shrimp multiple times for multiple years. There is no way in hell there was more than 30 in that bag. I asked for the manager. The manager literally came over, looked at it. She said, "Well, there's probably going to be more than you can see there." My response were, "Can you please count because there's obviously not more than 50-60? I've purchased many times before. This is my first issue." And her response was, "Well, how do you want me to help you?" And I responded by, "Just count them." Of course, nothing came of it, so that was the least amount of help I have ever had from that store. I do not recommend purchasing your shrimp here because clearly they can't count. Such a shame the education system has broken this badly that we can't count simple damn shrimp in a bag. And might I add, I called 10 minutes before I arrived and they said they barely had 30, if that. But yet magically there's a hundred plus in my bag now. Right...

  This was my first time visiting this location, and I came in hoping to purchase a few tropical fish. When I walked in and said hello, the employee seated to the left appeared annoyed and did not respond. Because of his demeanor, I decided not to ask for help finding the fish section. Luckily, it was easy to locate. However, as soon as I began looking at the fish, I noticed the tanks needed a great deal of care and attention. The longer I looked, the more concerning things I noticed. Ultimately, I did not feel comfortable purchasing fish from this location, so I left and went to PetSmart instead.

  My experience here today was bad. It took several minutes for my husband to find some to assist us. When he did find someone, Stephen acted like he was annoyed that we asked for help. He then proceeded to literally almost kill one of the fish until I said just leave it in there because I felt so bad and knew the fish would die if you keep reaching his bare in the little side tank. I would 10/10 not recommend getting fish from here if you care about them getting sick.
