The concept and people are fantastic. However, they did not have the lymes disease vaccine on hand (they did previously), and unless you call while the Vetco people are there, there is no way to find out of the vaccine is on hand. And calling Petco to speak with the Vetco staffers is not always easy. The service would be greatly improved if you could state what vaccines you need BEFORE the appointment, and then have the Vetco staff respond to any deficiencies.

As someone with an animal sciences degree; the Technician who gave my pup vaccinations had no idea what they were doing. Gave the vax in the wrong spot- not intramuscular, made the pup yelp in pain and still in pain the next day- left a large bulbous hump where she injected him near his hip bone. Said an English Pointer puppy whose ribs are barely seen is underweight, and needs “3-4 bowls of food a day” as if that’s a diet plan. We won’t be back.
