  We bring our dogs to Petco for their grooming needs. We live in Michigan and stopped at this branch since we were in the area, to get Bootsie a bath . I'm not sure what was actually done!! He was wet, he smelled slightly clean, but I know his ears weren't cleaned, he wasn't brushed, he definitely wasn't spritzed with any scent(unless it was wet dog scent). We were told upon picking him up that dryer was broke, we understand things like that happen, although usually there is more than 1 blow dryer. No discount was given for this. His nails were trimmed. Not sure if small glands were expressed but would guess not. We've been very happy with Petco up until now and we've been to ones in MI, GA, FL and I believe PA. We won't let this experience alter our liking of Petco groomers, just this one... Thank you, Susan

  Jessica did a great job. She got us in on short time line since we are on vacation. Both girls were happy when picked up and did well even with fact this was there first groomer visit. Thank you again great job.

  Great service and excellent communication with Zoee, our sweet nova looks great and we will definitely come back for future grooming sessions

  Might wind up the most expensive grooming experience I’ve ever paid for. Dropped my dog off for a bath and a trim, the person was extremely lazy and rude, then shaved my dog. Which normally would just leave me to not tip. BUT. About a few days later I’ve noticed my dog has began to get sick (diarrhea, mucus coming from eye, lethargy, and stiffness). My wife called our vet at Mt McKinley Who stated that there seems to be a trend and our dog is the 4th dog they’ve heard with the same symptoms who have been to PetCo in the past few weeks. When my wife called PetCo and gave them that info they essentially said “we don’t know”. We also don’t like to bring our dog places where people bring sick dogs. Also, I know dogs generally don’t like grooming, but my dog never minded it until we started taking him there. This lack of care to at least try to follow the customers instructions, to keep their grooming areas properly clean, and I’m guessing their worker traumatizing dogs who never minded grooming, is reason enough for me to not recommend PetCo grooming services. My dogs appointment to see what’s wrong with him is in two weeks because we’re trying to avoid paying extra for emergency services. But if he gets worse, this will be the most expensive grooming visit I’ve ever paid for.
