  V was the cashier who helped me during check out at my most recent visit, and was incredibly helpful; I wanted to double check that I was purchasing the right type of kibble since my dog has gotten really picky, and they were able to pull up my previous transactions on the computer as well as show me on the app where to pull up the info. They also answered my questions regarding returning opened bags of food. I really appreciated them taking the time to answer my questions. Thanks V!

  This is not my preferred pet store. No one ever asks if they can help me and I’m a new dog owner. I am getting used to the store layout but dog things seem scattered. There are items close to check out section, other items along side, food in back that doesn’t seem easily identified by brand. (For a new pet owner). I have had an account there since I have had the puppy, 4 months, and i think I’ve had to start an account each time. Never recognized and no, my phone number has not changed. Staff are sometimes very friendly but other times not. One person working there spoke to me yesterday. I do want to compliment the store on being better stocked than two or three months ago when I saw very sparse dog supplies- booties, sweaters, carriers. All seem in stock now. Or maybe I just couldn’t find anything back then.

  The grooming section here use to be good when chase worked there. She was so kind to my little guy and took the care and time into doing a simple nail trim. Never got his quick. I would only let her do it most days unless he absolutely needed it done. But come to find out she doesn’t work there anymore and jade at the petco grooming always has such a horrible attitude towards the dogs and the owners. Acting inconvenienced at those who come for a service. My dog was always uncomfortable around her and she always got his quick due to rushing the work and not caring about being even half way decent. Imo it’s not worth bringing your pets in here for her to handle them. She just all around isn’t nice person anytime we came in the within last year. If you’re looking to get any grooming needs just go elsewhere.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this Petco on July 31, 2026, around 4:50–5:00 p.m. My highly disabled child urgently needed to use the restroom. An employee came out of one of the restroom doors and locked it. I asked if we could use it, and he told me the restrooms were for employees only. Both the men's and women's restrooms were locked. There were no signs indicating the restrooms were for employees only. In fact, there are large "Restroom" signs on the wall, which is misleading if customers are not allowed to use them. If these restrooms are no longer open to the public, they should either be clearly marked "Employees Only" or the restroom signs should be removed. As I was leaving, I informed a cashier about the issue and suggested they put "Employees Only" signs on the restroom doors to avoid confusing other customers. I had planned to buy fish food and aquarium plants, but after this experience, I decided not to shop here and left without making a purchase

  This place is always backed up with a line while one or maybe two cashiers handles the whole line. Always always always. And lately it seems like the cashiers are pushing memberships and subscriptions even harder... which holds up the line even more. But hey as long as petco corporation is getting their bag, who cares about customer experience right?
