- KJKenyon JordanMar 2, 20261.0I’ll never go to Banfield again. Made an appointment on Saturday for Sunday morning at 9am and it took them 3.5 hours to tell me that they needed to sedate and send a sample to the lab. It was going to take another 2-3 hours for that. I was the first person there that morning . They are not very communicative and you don’t get to go back with your pet for one on one with the vet. It was cheaper for me to go to a regular clinic and much quicker than this place. Banfield is also way too expensive. For what they charge it’s half the price at my regular vet. I honestly made a huge mistake thinking that this was a good place to take my dog. The staff doesnt even seem like they are the least bit interested in peoples pets. I gave them specific instructions about what was going on with my dog and they didn’t even acknowledge other possibilities, just that they wanted to send off a sample to a lab which was not necessary. Take your pets to an actual vet clinic/hospital. It’s cheaper and they handle pets properly with much better care. I rarely write reviews but this place was such a bad enough experience that it needed to be done.

They were able to squeeze me in between patients due to my pup’s limber tail. I thought it was gonna take forever for them to figure out what the problem was, but Dr. Hicks took care of him. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured into anything. He gave me different options to make my pup feel better. Sadie, Dr. Hicks, and the tech(didn’t get her name) were awesome! I wish all people who work with pets are like them.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
