  The Watauga Petco has always been well stocked with supplies for all the various species I have cared for over the years (other locations have not). When I do online orders, everything is always excellent condition. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

  Katie, the small animal manager (fish, reptile, ect) is the only reason I bought fish today! She has an amazing specialty wall, great looking fish, knows her stuff, and you can just tell she cares. I haven't bought fish from this location in a long time, but walking in I see the difference. From what is in stock, her organization, and attention to the fish, as well as the customers, is amazing! She is so personable and great at what she does.

  Horrible service. I was refused service at this location because my dog is older. He was always seen at Petco since 2021. The district manager also refused us service for grooming at the Overton Ridge location. They are refusing to service to older dogs and have nothing written in fine print for the public to be able to see this. First they stated the couldn’t find my appointment and then they saw it was another date which was wrong. They squeezed me in and then not even five minutes later they called me to pick up my dog. They made up stories about him supposedly falling and having a seizure. They then didn’t provide a solution. I know my dog doesn’t like to bathe at times but my dog never had any issues before. I stated to them now we have a bigger issue. They allowed me to see the vet services there and the vet stays the as no issue. I over heard a conversation that they had with an employee stating that they had issue with an old woman who had issue with her senior pet and I believe that they were trying to categorize me into that group also. They refused services and to me honestly it felt discriminatory when a woman of a lighter color took her 9 year old pet to get groomed and she was accepted but not me.

  Petco grooming is always great! Ollie’s groomer Adrianna does a wonderful job everytime! When I first started going there she took the time to listen to my concerns about how he gets ear infections if he gets water in his ears and now I don’t even have to mention it because she has it in her notes. I am so grateful!! She does a fantastic job of remembering the way I like Ollie’s hair cut all year round short in spring and summer and longer in fall and winter! All the groomers that I have had though have been so great! When I cannot get Ollie scheduled with Adrianna the other groomers amber and Anita do a great job of cutting him and taking care of him! He loves it there! The only thing I’m sad about is the price went up alittle but yall do such a good job it’s worth it!
