- SAStephanie AguilarSep 22, 20251.0the first visit is free for a reason; this place is horrible. brought my dog in for a wellness check. they asked me if i had any concerns; my dog has a hotspot that pops up here & there that i have taken him to the vet before for. they took my dog to the back, which i thought was unusual as other vets do everything in front of me. when they brought him back i noticed he didn’t want to sit on his butt. they recommended antibiotics & a spray (which by the way, did not work) and wanted me to pay DOUBLE the price for two 10mg of cytopoint because they did not have the 20mg. no thanks.. paid and brought my dog home and he was screaming in pain when i tried to clean his butt! i called and talked to a manager which immediately dismissed my concern & said my dogs pain was due to his anal glands, and spent 10 mins explaining what they were as if i was dumb. (by the way, his anal glands did not need to be expressed. we went to a different vet.) she also made sure to say “oh, so you didnt even get the cytopoint” as if i was crazy for not wanting to pay double for something YOU are out of. she also told me they didn’t even do a wellness checkup. so thats that. my dog was in pain the rest of the day. never happened before at any other vet. 0 stars.

She ARGUED with me back and forth about an email I should have received about bringing my pet in a carrier. Why are you belittling me about an email I missed when there is a sick kitten in my hands and an empty room 4 feet away? I felt like I was getting scolded by my mother. Who talks to another human like that? Let alone a paying customer? If that’s how she treats customers, I don’t even want to know how she acts behind closed doors. We were in our own private room and she still tried tacking on a carrier to our bill. I would have bought the carrier if she hadn’t degraded us and made a scene about it. The doctor and assistant were very thorough with the exam and answered all the questions we had, just would’ve been nice to have been greeted differently. I know if I talked to people like that at work, I wouldn’t have a job.
