I visited this clinic on Saturday, 11/29/25, with my cat, who was obviously/visibly unwell. During this visit, the vet performed a physical exam and recommended X-rays + bloodwork to determine the cause of his condition.
After the X-ray was completed and showed nothing, I requested bloodwork. At that point, I was informed that:
1. Their bloodwork machine was down.
2. They had no pain medication available (“on backorder”).
3. The facility did not offer any hospitalization services (which my cat apparently needed).
Essentially, they provided no diagnostic and zero treatment options but still charged me ($800+) for their services.
My main issues are:
1. Why were X-rays recommended if this clinic could not provide any actual diagnostics or treatment options? (even if something had been found, they couldn’t help me)
2. Why wasn’t I told before the X-rays that bloodwork was unavailable and that the clinic didn’t even have pain medication to help my animal? (Bc I didn’t go there for X-rays, I went there bc my cat needed medical help)
3. When I went to another vet, they had to repeat their own exams and testing because the documentation I received from Vetco Total Care was not useful. In fact, they said that most of the language was “AI interpretation.”
This felt similar to calling a contractor who charged me $800 to “inspect” some issue, despite being unable to fix anything and whose findings had be redone by someone who would actually do the work. It was misleading and very much like a scam service model.
Due to the lack of transparency, the inability to provide any actual care, and the fact that they provided an X-ray report that could not be used by the facility that ultimately treated my cat, I called the clinic and filed a complaint requesting a refund.
That same day, someone from the clinic called me back and apologized stating that he would speak to his team bc they shouldn’t have advised / performed any X-rays after the initial exam. However, he also said that he could not issue a refund for those services. This is confusing to me bc, if you’re admitting that this was a mistake from your staff, why am I the one paying for this incompetence?
I would not recommend going to this place ever. This clinic is going to sell you random services with no regard/intent to actually help your pet. I ended going to HUB Vet Group (Conroe) and then, Angel’s Pet Hospital (Spring) a few days later for a follow-up. Both of these places were amazing.

Appt. Was at 9:30am on 10/27..Terrible experience at the beginning of the appt. At 9:25am No one was at the desk to greet, there was another customer waiting in the lobby. Finally someone comes and assist us. She then stated that there were 4 other appointments At the same time and there would be a wait but not too long. While waiting my dog started vomiting. At 9:40am I waited in the hall to find someone and the same lady came out of a room. I asked for a cup because my dog keeps vomiting she went to the back to get one. She asked someone in the back room for a cup then that person stated "A cup, not a bag?" The lady came back out with paper towels and asked me if i asked for a cup. I told her either a cup or bag whichever yall have but my dog is vomiting. Now why would I put a plastic bag near my small dog face? Wouldn't the cup be safer? Or even if this a true vet, you dont have nothing in place or container if a dog is vomiting? 10:20 am and still havent been seen by a vet or vet tech. I thought if dogs are vomiting, there should be immediate attention? My dog could've been dying and no one cared. Finally was seen at 10:30 am and they went to take my dog to the back to get her exam, didn't see anything exterior but I also feel we wasted vital time when she was vomiting 2 times while waiting to be seen. They Gave fluids for dehydration and meds for nausea. I booked the appointment Stating the reason of being seen which for lethargy. I dont recommend this place, very incompetent. 10/29/25 my yorkie passed away.
