- WPWyatt PavelkaJan 8, 20261.0They are the only vet I know that struggles to vaccinate my dogs, 10 visits at a location in Idaho with no issues, this location to fumbles and traumatize my dog requiring sedatives just to barely get my dog vaccinated. Not to mention I’m pretty sure half of the injection ended up on the ground. Would suggest anywhere else for a large dog.

My 9 year old baby was suffering from the end stages of Lymphoma Cancer, it had all happened within a few hours and our normal vet was not open. I called and they explained the process very briefly and when we got there immediately put us in a room and were just very compassionate with everything that was happening. Dr. Wood was phenomenal and sat there with us as we said goodbye to our baby. I cannot recommend this place enough just from my brief experience here. Because my vet is closed on the weekends I will ALWAYS come here if needed in the future with our new baby. Thank you Dr. Wood and the ladies up front for being gentle and thoughtful while I was clearly very heartbroken. You guys have a very special staff here.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

Banfield Pet Hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Sundays and certain holidays.
