  We went to the Sherman, Texas store. Everyone was so friendly. We bought fish and were astounded at how knowledgeable the fish department people are, especially Ian who spent lots of time explaining and educating us. It was like a fun trip to the zoo. We bought 5 fish, which can be quite costly. It’s important to get healthy ones. We will definitely be back

  I called yesterday to schedule a bath, nail cut and buffed for my 2 chiweenies. One is short haired, the other is kinda long haired. I was told they weren't busy so I brought them in at 12. Three hours later, they called to say the girls were ready. The bill came to almost $117.00!!!!! They told me that I could get a discount if I were to join some membership for 24.99 a month. This place is highway robbery. They charged 5.99 for materials for each dog. I'm guessing that was for shampoo. Anyway, I called the groomer we use for our older dog and asked what they charged for what I got at Petco, he told me $25.00 for each dog. When I told him how much Petco charged, he laughed and asked if they kissed me first.

  The ONLY reason for two stars is because the first person to get me fish was wonderful and helped me get the fish I wanted. If I would have gotten the second person the first time, I would have never gone back. She was extremely rude and condescending. If I am spending my money on fish, I should be able to get the fish I wanted. It should not matter if I have 1 or 12 plecostomous and catfish in my tank. I am aware of how large they grow. I have had a few. To tell me that I can’t buy anymore and if she would have been the person getting the fish the first time she would not have sold them to me?! What the heck?! How does she know if they are all going in the same tank? I have more than one tank. She just assumed I would put them all in the same tank. Needless to say we won’t be back.

  My grandson and I went in to buy fish, the young women who was working the area was rude and would not acknowledge us whatsoever even after waiting very patiently for help. She walked away knowing we needed assistance. When we were leaving she saw us and turned her back to us at the check out. I did get another employee to help that was kind and did answer our questions. I work with the public and do not treat people with disrespect. Unfortunately it is a reflection of the company when an employee shows this kind of behavior.
