This entire vet experience has been so difficult. Recently adopted two kitties from Petsmart, and decided on using the free visit coupon from the booklet. Made two appointments, and one got canceled and the other rescheduled (without my knowledge). I show up to the appointment and am told that I missed my appointment, their emailing system failed to send me any confirmation regarding this. Fortunately I was able to be squeezed in, experience was okay (first vet was very kind). My kitty ended up needing a fecal sample ran, I was first told it was $40, then upon dropping off the sample I was told “the price went up” to $97. I’m aware now that that is typical pricing for the test but nonetheless it is frustrating. After dropping off the sample I was told I should hear back sometime on Tuesday. I reached out early Tuesday morning because I still had not received my email receipt for the fecal sample testing and I was told the results were in and the vet should call me shortly. Hadn’t received a phone call by late afternoon so I called again at 5 and finally got ahold of the vet. This other vet explained the results to me and under her breath shared that she miss-dosed my cat based on the wrong weight and would have to put the order in again — it’s frustrating to hear that especially as a pet owner. I understand we are human and mistakes happen but it only worsens this ordeal. I had concerns of giving one kitty treatment and not the other simultaneously given that the other kitty is her sister and likely has the same organism given they both have a rounded belly appearance. This pet hospital was not accommodating when getting in appointments “due to the holidays”. Another thing to mention is the tech kept saying my pet’s name incorrectly after I had already said the name several times, just super annoying but perhaps I’m knit picking. Overall, this experience was incredibly frustrating, I will be taking my pets elsewhere.

I don’t know what’s happened with this location. It’s evident that their management and/or staff has changed. The customer service at the front desk is absolutely terrible and the fact that “I don’t know” is the answer to almost ever question shows she was either choosing not to answer me or she is not competent in her job.
Why are the staff ignoring people who are standing in line and they are just talking very unprofessional amongst themselves about other people. This is the 2nd time I’ve gone here in a 2 month time period where the same female staff member had an attitude. Management should really consider re-training their staff or getting people to work at the front desk that have good customer service skills. The last thing people want to deal with (bringing their sick pet) is someone with an attitude and is unhelpful.
I would rather travel an extra 5-10 miles to go to a different location than to ever go there again.

Don’t ask what time you would like you need or want to pickup your pet if you just completely ignore it.
Also, why do I even have a comprehensive plan? I always end up paying hundreds at each visit anyway. I’m going to a different vet. I’ve had issues with Banfield for years. I was willing to give them a pass. Everybody has a bad day, including vets and vet tech, but my experience has just been bad every time for years. I’m going to move on. Please try to improve your service for other customers
