  I sought Bellum K9 due to the extensive K9 training Shane acquired during his time in the service. I researched his website and was impressed by how he handles himself and his business. You can tell his love for dogs, proper dog training and empowering dog owners to become the confident dog trainer/owner their dog deserves. I have 4 children 2 of which are completely blind. When our family dog passed away there was only a short time before our kiddos wanted another companion to play with. Due to our family having 2 young blind kiddos, our next dog needed to have certain requirements. We adopted a puppy, the puppy was wild and crazy. Overboard in my opinion. I tried researching and trying all kinds of dog training on my own from google and YouTube. Nothing worked. I needed professional help. Bellum K9 has been beyond amazing to me on my dog training journey. Our pup Bella went from not listening, me having zero control over her to nailing Shane’s obedience tests. She listens, obeys commands and has shown tremendous progress. I owe it all to Shane and Keilyn’s patience with myself and with Bella. They gave me tools to utilize in my special family home and I couldn’t be more thankful. Bella is still not done with training so I am excited to see what she can do with our future training sessions. If you are thinking about giving Bellum K9 a shot - I HIGHLY recommend you do. You won’t be disappointed by their wealth of knowledge they pass onto you. Emery Cruz

  We boarded our very crazy and active Lab baby with Wagmate's trainer, Montreal. Our dog's transformation has been amazing! She loose leash walks and no longer jumps. Montreal is also wonderful at training us humans. He is patient and explains well. I highly recommend the Wagmates program.

  We had two dogs that desperately needed training. They had aggressive tendencies, both in their own way and one was quite stubborn. They did a great job teaching us and the dogs. You definitely cannot train dogs without training yourself on how to manage them. Ryan, the facility manager and Keilyn, our trainer did a great job. They know what they are doing and we had no clue before we got there. We know we are now well equipped with the tools for success with our dogs. Thank you Ryan and Keilyn!!!

  Be careful with this place. My boyfriend and I took our Shepherd here to ask for specific training. Shane tried to push clicker training, E collar training, and other training to include off leash training on us. We specifically said no these services, especially off leash training as Galveston County has very strict leash laws. My boyfriend is a Gulf War vet and has heart issues and is on a fixed income. We gave Sean 1,000 dollars in good faith as a deposit. Shane wanted 2,000 dollars. Shane said no training would take place until he had received the full 2,000 dollars. My boyfriend said he would work on getting the rest of the money at a later date. We later received a training agenda for clicker training, off leash training, E collar training and other services that we specifically stated that we didn’t want. Shane bragged about his 3-million-dollar contracts and his service to veterans. We decided to look else where for the specific training that we wanted. Shane kept our money. He refused to return it, even though the contract was not paid in full, and no training was ever provided. He was rude and said to bad, the money is now mine. We are simply out 1,000 dollars. Do not give Shane any money down in good faith. He has no integrity. Get your training agenda BEFORE you give them any money. Just be very, very careful or risk losing your money like we did. In addition, don’t fall for his speech about service to fellow Veterans like we did.
