  The Vetco staff are very friendly and helpful. My pup needed special food. They helped me sign up and get the one she needed.

  I asked for help from one of the three managers who were chatting and they told me to wait for the young man who was already busy with crickets, helping other customers, and checking people out. What's the point of having so many managers when they're putting all the work on one employee?

  I swear every time I go there I am more and more impressed all and I mean all the staff members are extremely kind knowledgeable and very willing to take their time to help you in your fur babies find exactly what you need

  Good news - Bad news. Good news is they took the Purina Pro Plan bag back - each time. We ordered online to pick up in store 3x over the past month, unfortunately the exact same issue Purina Pro Plan has experienced before has raised its ugly head again - moths. You can’t identify the eggs, but will quickly spot the larvae and then the adult moth. Mainly because they will attempt to fly out of the bag once you open it. We even found larvae outside one bag when we found it on the shelf. The manager immediately went into action to isolate and separate the product from all that she could and said she would notify Purina Pro Plan at once as well as refund our money. It’s a horrible feeling to know your dog’s ingested what eggs we didn’t see. We will continue to monitor thier health with our vet but the best case scenario at Petco is what we are thankful for. According to the website it is not an isolated incident- it is likely from the plant, but it is something to be cautious of.

  Do not have your dog groomed here. I have been taking my miniature schnauzer here for more than two years. Our regular groomer moved but let me know things had changed. Today we show up for our confirmed appointment and they are all looking at the screen. Then they tell me he has heart murmur and they must have a wriiren release from his vet now. They had that two years ago. Nothing has changed. He takes his meds and show up for regular health checks BUT there's the thing: there is no notice of new policy on the website they are just using what has always been there. No email or call about this after his appointment was confirmed. I offered to have them send letter over on Monday. No response. The employees called the manager to the desk and explained we were regular customers and it's Saturday at the vet clinic “no exceptions” no common sense. This is probably a way to get more money by sending the dog over to the in house vet which is crazy if they are really are concerned about his health. His records are at his vet. Buy your merchandise there but don't take your dog now because your dog is not a piece of merchandise.
