She first approached me during a nail trim appointment when she noticed I was struggling to calm my very energetic puppy, Sparky, who loves people and wants to jump on everyone. She suggested enrolling him in the puppy training class, and although I wasn’t expecting miracles, Faith completely exceeded my expectations! From the very beginning, it was clear that Faith has a genuine love and passion for dogs. She has been unbelievably patient, calm, and encouraging with Sparky - even during his most out-of-control moments. What really sets Faith apart is her attentiveness and care. She noticed Sparky was excessively scratching his ears and flagged it for me, which led to discovering an ear infection I had no idea about. As a new puppy parent, that insight meant everything! Sparky absolutely adores Faith and gets excited every time he sees her! Most importantly, his behavior and manners have improved dramatically. He is much better at waiting calmly instead of jumping on people, and he is getting better every day! I can’t speak for every Petco trainer, but I can confidently say that Faith at THIS location is outstanding! If you’re even considering puppy training, do not hesitate. Faith is worth it and then some!
