During my appointment, the groomer stated she did not want to brush out my goldendoodle’s tangles and instead chose to shave him completely down, without my permission. This was never discussed or approved beforehand. On top of that, the grooming itself was poorly done—his ears were uneven and his tail was noticeably uneven as well. Overall, the quality of work was unacceptable. I addressed this directly with management at the time and made it clear that I was unhappy with the service and would not be paying due to how my dog was handled and the lack of consent. Now, months later, I am being contacted again and pressured to pay a disputed invoice that management was already aware of. Continuing to reach out long after the issue was discussed feels unprofessional and harassing. Pet owners trust groomers with members of their family. This experience showed a serious lack of communication, consent, and accountability. I strongly encourage others to be cautious and ensure expectations are clearly documented before booking.
