Let me tell you today I was amazed on how Dr Franken took care of my fur baby. Hands down the best doctor that this clinic has. I will always make my appointments with only her. Thank you doctor for explaining everything in details for me and doing a great exam on my baby.

!!!WARNING: LONG REVIEW!!! I’m giving this clinic 4 stars, mainly because of an issue with the front desk during our first visit. Rob, who I later found out was the clinic manager, weighed my dog at 5.6 lbs. I questioned this because my dog had just been weighed at another vet the day before and she was 4.8 lbs. I brought up the discrepancy multiple times and was assured it would be documented correctly, but unfortunately it never was. When I dropped my pup off with the technician, she told me they would re-weigh her on a “puppy scale” because she’s such a small dog, which made me feel much better. However, by the end of the visit the weight in her chart was never updated. This became frustrating because they filled her medication based on that incorrect weight, and we had to arrange an exchange since the medication was weight-based. The reason I was persistent about correcting her weight is because she was scheduled for a dental cleaning the next day and would be under general anesthesia. With such a small dog, even a small weight difference can affect anesthesia dosing, so it was important to me that it was accurate. Thankfully, on the day of her procedure the technician helping me was amazing. She made sure to weigh my dog on the puppy scale right in front of me, and as expected my dog weighed 4.8 lbs, which is exactly what I had said from the beginning. I was very relieved they double-checked before the procedure, because small details can make a big difference, especially when your pet is tiny and you’re already nervous. I want to be clear that I’m not questioning the vet or the team’s competence. Overall they have been wonderful. My main takeaway is simply that listening to pet parents’ concerns no matter how small they may seem. This can really helps build trust and peace of mind. The rest of the team truly was fantastic. The technician (I believe her name was Sophie?? sorry if I’m mistaken) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and really helped calm my nerves the day of the procedure. Amani at the front desk was also amazing. I called and texted her multiple times leading up to my dog’s procedure with questions and concerns, and she was always patient, kind, and reassuring. She truly made me feel like my dog was in good hands. And of course, Dr. Victoria Alfred was wonderful. She took great care of my pup, communicated clearly, and even returned my calls when I had questions. My dog’s procedure went well, she’s doing great the day after, and the clinic even called to check on her. Because of these amazing staff members, I would absolutely bring my dog back if we’re in town again. The team really is great. My only advice to other pet parents is: trust your gut and don’t be afraid to speak up or ask questions when something doesn’t seem right. It’s part of advocating for our pets.

We took our dog here on 11/22 for an ear infection. They said it wasn’t a serious one, but still present. The price gouging was unbelievable—$243, and they offered clean her ears because they wanted to charge even more for that and I was administering the medicine myself so why would I pay more for that. I went there as a last resort since I’m off only on weekends, but this experience has been beyond frustrating. She was on the medication they prescribed for over 24 hours, yet her ears were still red, itchy, and uncomfortable. I called early Monday morning and asked to speak with the vet. I waited all day with no response. When I called back, I was told the vet was busy all day because they were the only one working. That was understandable at the time. But then Tuesday came—no call. I called again midday and was basically told the same thing, but they assured me I would get a call back since they would be closed Wednesday. Still nothing. This morning, 11/28, I called again because I couldn’t wait any longer. I found blood in my dog’s ear, scabs from her scratching, and she was tilting her head in discomfort. I asked them to please make it right—refund me, do something so I can get her the care she needs elsewhere. They told me they weren’t sure if they could do that and would call me back with an answer. I’m currently still waiting. This place clearly does not care and will price gouge you while giving you little to no actual support or follow-up. Their lack of staffing is not an excuse for ignoring customers or delaying care. Do not take your pets here. Their unavailability and lack of concern speak volumes.
