We took our Sheepadoodle to be shaved down. He had matting after we had let his hair grow out during the winter. To make things easier for the groomer, we said do a complete shave down. Lupe would not do the groom, but Saskia agreed to do it. She did a wonderful job even though he was probably her most challenging client of the day. She is kind and friendly and I would recommend her to anyone who needs these services. Amy N

I’ve been a frequent customer at this location, but after my recent experience, I’m extremely disappointed. The cashier, Daniel, was friendly and chatty with the white customers ahead of us. When my sister and I (Hispanic women) approached, his entire demeanor changed. No greeting. No response when I greeted him. When I used my rewards, he said, “The customer behind you is going to have to wait 30 minutes because of that,” in an irritated tone. He sighed repeatedly, made exaggerated gestures at the screen, complained about the rewards, and repeatedly said “okay” in a mocking tone — even using what sounded like a stereotypical Mexican accent. The contrast in treatment was obvious and uncomfortable. It felt discriminatory and unprofessional. No customer should feel mocked for using store rewards. I hope management takes this seriously.

If I could leave no star I would… was treated very rudely by a female associate in the grooming department. Felt like it was an inconvenience for me to be there and give this petco my business. She seemed bothered to even be there. But a waste of time on my Sunday just to be rushed back out the door for no reason.

Daniel is not a very good cashier, i said hello and he ignored me and was silent the whole transaction and didn’t even tell me what my total was or when the card reader was ready for me he just stared at me. Did not feel very welcomed but at least he told me to have a good day. All other employees were nice so thank you to everyone else

If this was the last petco to go to I still wouldn’t choose to go here again. The cashier Daniel was the most rude, inconsiderate cashier I have ever came in contact with. The fact that this man even has a customer service job at this place still with the amount of bad reviews he ALREADY HAS is embarrassing on the managers part. Corporate has been made aware of his attitude as well. Hopefully he can find a job that suits him because this one isn’t it.
