- CGcecilia Garcia5 days ago1.0I need to be completely honest about Petco’s grooming service, because what happened with my dog is unacceptable. The way you treat anxious small dogs is terrible. You call them “aggressive” just because you don’t have the patience or the professionalism to handle a mini Goldendoodle that weighs less than 20 pounds. Instead of working with him, you simply refuse to take him again. That’s not how a real groomer behaves. My dog had an appointment at 10 AM and you didn’t give him back to me until almost 5 PM. I don’t even want to imagine where he was all those hours — locked up, stressed, ignored, without food or water. When he got home he was starving and desperately thirsty. He drank water like never before, which tells me he didn’t get even the most basic care while he was there. No grooming appointment should take that long. There is no excuse for it. This experience showed me exactly how bad your service is and how little you actually care about the pets you’re supposed to take care of.
