  My First time at Petco. I strongly recommend Petco over PetSmart 100%. I found what I needed on the shelf. PetSmart doesn’t carry it at all. This is why Petco is very convenient. Thank you kindly Petco. Oh, and the staff is friendly too. You will not be disappointed.

  I came in on 2/7 at around 6:30pm just to make a quick purchase which became anything but. Two employees, a older guy and a younger girl at the grooming area watched me stand at the register for about 5 min. Now could I have ask them to help me. Sure but why? So in comes a lady that saw me in line..took two minutes stood in line with me and asked the two employees that seemed to be looking at the registet to ask for someone after her son couldnt find anyone to assist. They get on the mic to call for assistance and out comes a cashier. So the customer had to ask the two employees that saw us stand there for about 5 minutes to call a cashier when they could have done it earlier. Cashier was cool but I didnt want to give my petco credit card or vitals # just for this review. I doordash orders from this place its wrong or something was left out. I pickup a order through app and it was subbed for something else. I figured 3rd times a charm and Ill walk in and this happens. Im over this store and Petco in general. Paying off this card..cancelling. And not returning to this place. That wait gave me time to think of all this. The things I do for my dogs.

  The staff is always friendly and helpful. One thing that is a repeated concern I see not only at this location but others too.. they often will have a solo guinea pig in their displays. These are social animals and NEED companions to be happy and healthy. If Petco isn’t going to require them to be sold in pairs (which this is law in other countries), they should at least have a policy where there is never just one left in the enclosure. That one could be left alone for weeks, with no interactions with others. Loneliness will have a negative impact on the overall health and wellness of the piggie left by themselves. If Petco is going to sell the animals, the company needs to practice adequate and appropriate keeping of the animals until they are purchased.

  I was giva coupon from 24petwatch. In the message that I received, it stated that I needed to join to join Vital Care. I joined as indicated and I picked out several items for my dog. At the check out I was told that I had to join Premier Vital Care to use the coupon. I was then told that it was $25 a month to join for a year. That's ridiculous, how can you tell someone you have a gift card, but you have to pay to join. I am very upset with this situation. I refused and had to pay for the items I was supposed to get free.
