I've been bringing my pet here for a few years now. I love Dr Cho and most staff have been friendly. My only dislike with the clinic is that's it's extremely nasty. The owner or whoever responsible for the clinic's appearance must not have a consistent cleaning service. One time I was there frequently because of my pet's pancreatitis issues and a dead bug (big to the eye) sat in the same spot for 2 weeks and in the restroom. All restrooms should be cleaned daily. Besides this, there's layers of dust, animal hair, dried urine, etc visible when I visit. This makes me wonder if the back clinic is nasty as well, the place where they take our animals that we can't see. The lack of cleanliness alone has me looking to find another clinic.

I can't say enough positive things about the Banfield Custer location. Dr. Cho was so professional and compassionate with our sweet Gracie's end of life care. She took her time explaining what was going on and what to expect and was so understanding and caring. The staff were kind as well. I will forever be grateful for their care during a very difficult time.

Update as of 10/24: I booked my pets online for an in room since I was told they couldn’t fit me in for an in room last Saturday when I had a booked and confirmed appointment. After I booked online today and I called to make sure they had their meds in stock as last time I was told they ran out of the main flea/tick meds and they didn’t have time to look my dogs infection. I was met with another rude employee telling me the app is not working and shouldn’t let people double book. I asked for any in room time today or tomorrow and she said only drop off. Why would I drop my pets off all day to be stressed because they can’t figure out scheduling. At this point I’m looking to cancel my plans with them. No one has called me regarding these issues from previous appointments. Last Saturday review: I recently moved to McKinney and was genuinely hopeful that this Banfield location would offer better customer service and organization than what I experienced in Dallas. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. From the start, I’ve encountered rude employees and long wait times. I always call ahead to schedule an in-room appointment, but even with an appointment, I’m typically waiting 20 minutes or more just to be brought back and then even longer once inside the room. Each time, I’m told the clinic is short-staffed or there is an emergency going on. It seems that they want me to drop my dogs off early and leave them there all day until someone is available. That’s simply not an option for me, my 13-year-old dog has a heart condition, and I will not leave him caged for hours. I only have weekends off to bring them in, and I make every effort to plan ahead. Despite that, every visit feels chaotic and dismissive. I work in customer service myself, so I rarely leave negative reviews, but at this point, I feel I have to speak up. I truly want to see better communication, empathy, and professionalism from this location. Having a Banfield so close to home should be a relief, not a constant source of stress.

Beckie did great with my newly adopted Hopper! His 1st time and I liked his new haircut and nail trim. She said he did great and was easy to work with.

I will never take any of my dogs to any banfield ever again, the vets don’t care about your dogs and just want to get you in and out. This is a problem at ALL of there locations. The vets are very incompetent.
