- KLKalli LevineSep 26, 20251.0This is more for the banfield company as whole- not only this location. DO NOT FALL FOR THE WELLNESS PLANS!!! My kitten received care from banfield hospitals only 3 times. One for his first round of shots and 2 because he was ill. One of them cost over $400 out of pocket even though it is advertised a high discount for “other” visits. What they also did NOT specify is that the wellness plans are YEARLY and you just pay monthly. You cannot cancel your plan early. Even if your pet dies and can no longer even receive their services. You have to pay out the full year the plan just doesn’t get renewed for the next year. Apparently it’s in what I signed but Amanda at this location “summed up” what was in the paperwork and just told me to sign. Ridiculous. My cat is dead after 3 months and I still owe $400.

I would recommend anyone that’s looking for a facilities to help them. Take care of the dogs I will recommend them any day. They are just that good.

- BSBrittany SmithMay 31, 20221.0I have always LOVED Dr. Rodgers, and have 0 complaints about her. She obviously cares deeply for the animals and their families. The last two encounters were with another vet who I could not understand and the front desk. They told me I’d be called about my pet’s status and I never was, had to call them where they acted like they basically forgot to call me. My dog was dropped off at 8 AM and I didn’t get to go home with her until 5:30 PM when it was just supposed to be blood work! Second time called first thing in the morning for medication in which I was told they’d call me when ready. Once again no call. I called several times where it went to voicemail. Finally got through at 5:00 and was told I could come get it by 5:30. I have an infant at home, I can’t pack up that quick. Just feel like a very undervalued customer and very disappointed with recent service.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
