My male Basset, who can be extremely wary of strangers, went to the back with the staff here like he'd known them for years. I purchased one of their wellness plans to save money, and I did. He had to have a lot of testing, x-rays, etc, that were included in the plan. However, getting the X-rays read costs over $100, and his medicine costs seemed excessive. I expected to spend maybe $300 and I ended up having to pay $567. Next time one of my pets needs medicine I'll get them to call them into my pharmacy. Overall I'm happy with the care my boy received, and will be taking my female Basset here as well. Just be prepared for the costs before you bring your fur babies here.

Dropped my dog off for a routine teeth cleaning and they literally neglected my dog & FAILED TO LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS when I picked him up. I ended up taking him to Frisco Emergency Vet Care within 24hrs. The staff there was able to “fix” what Banfield did and provide proper post care!!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
