The first time I brought a fading foster kitten here, I was heartbroken. While I understand that the prognosis may have been poor, it felt wrong that no one was upfront about that. They proceeded with very basic care and did not clearly communicate whether there was any realistic chance of recovery. And despite the kitten passing they still wanted me to pay them $200.
The second time was worse. I explicitly said I believed the kitten was dying, emaciated, had pale gums, and that it was an emergency. I was placed in a room and left waiting for 45 minutes without anyone checking on her condition. After waiting for so long, I realized she had entered the active dying process and started to crash. I chose to leave so she wouldn’t pass under bright fluorescent lights, and she died in my arms about 15 minutes later at home.
I understand this is the only 24/7 emergency clinic in the area, and I don’t doubt the staff’s technical qualifications. However, I wish there had been more honesty, urgency, and compassion especially in situations where time matters. Animals in critical condition should be accessed immediately and treated with empathy.

The staff is so kind and caring, you can tell they’re there for the patients. The facility is clean and offers top tier accommodations to help make a bad situation a little easier. It was a very difficult day dealing with a sick pup and they made it so much better for him and myself. After being up all night we’re both now resting comfortably. If you’re having an emergency, it’s where you want to go.

Christmas Day, my partner and I had just gotten back into town when we got a call from my parents who were puppy sitting that our 8 month old Great Pyrenees slipped out of her collar and decided to run as fast as she could to the highway, and was hit by a car. We were terrified and started calling every emergency vet we could find, and thankfully this clinic was open.
From the moment we contacted them, they were incredibly helpful. They communicated with us constantly, answered every question with patience, and reassured us every step of the way. Even after her stay, they continued helping us with any questions and concerns. Mochi is a BIG puppy with BIG puppy energy, even when hurt. They were so understanding and did all they could regardless of her being crazy and stubborn. They were also so kind and understanding with me, especially since I was an emotional mess (our puppy is truly our baby).
On top of the amazing care, their pricing was extremely reasonable. For an overnight stay, medications, a procedure, and everything she needed, it was around $3,100, which we were very grateful for, especially given it was a holiday.
We are unbelievably thankful for the care, compassion, and support we received, especially on Christmas Day. We feel incredibly lucky that we found this emergency vet and would recommend them to anyone in need. And our baby is at home and healing great.

Recently had a very sad experience of coming home to find my sweet little guinea pig in terrible distress and needing euthanasia. None of the vets around me were open, so my husband and I made the drive over to this ER. I was worried about how long he had already suffered before I found him, and during the drive, and it was a huge relief that the staff immediately rushed him back upon arrival and began care.
It's never easy with these decisions, but the vet and staff really put my mind and anxiety at ease that euthanasia was the best course of action. I used to own small animals years ago, and the vets were never able to allow owners to be present. It was a relief that advances in vet med and this office lets the owners be there for the small pets. It was such an improvement over old methods, and they just gave him a little IV and peace in seconds, and I was able to stroke his little head and say goodbye. The entire staff was so kind and caring to both my husband and I and our guinea pig.
They went over different options available, such as cremation. I chose to take him home for burial. They even sent a sympathy card in the mail after. The price was also affordable, especially for it being after hours. I can't recommend them enough.

While the initial diagnosis and surgery for our 2-year-old Doberman, Roxy, on 11/27 went well, our post-operative experience was extremely frustrating and concerning.
Before surgery for a partial blockage, we were assured by the initial DVM that Roxy, an anxious Doberman, would not be required to eat before discharge if all other milestones were met.
However, after surgery, the communication dramatically changed. We received confusing and contradictory updates regarding her gastric output and discharge criteria. Right before a scheduled visit I was informed of new, stricter requirements (she had to eat), directly contradicting previous assurances.
When we finally saw Roxy, we were able to make a plan, which had me coming in to feed her at 2am only to be surprised at that visit when she was discharged without warning (NG tube and IV removed when I showed up).
Tragically, Roxy was back in the ER that same evening with a post-op fever and gastric ileus, requiring another overnight stay. We were assured she did not have a surgical site infection (SSI), and were asked "to trust the team."
When we returned on Monday night, we were left waiting for 30 minutes, and found Roxy covered in her own feces. After a long wait for the DVM, we were then told she did have an SSI.
When getting her supplies to go home I realized that she had not been eating well as they had been telling me. She had been eating adequately for her situation, but not eating well.
To top it off, her discharge was disorganized: she missed her scheduled 8 PM medications, and the oral antibiotics were forgotten, requiring a late-night return trip. When I reached out to client services with these serious concerns, I was essentially dismissed. The lack of consistent communication and poor post-op care, including the preventable SSI and medication errors, was unacceptable.
