  Absolutely terrible grooming job on my poodle. They shaved him down way too much. It’s laughable. He looks like a hairless cat.

  Very rude staff in the grooming area. Told me I was late for my appointment even tho I was on time and waited for over 10 min at the counter.

  i called the grooming service to ask for a cat nail trimming, the lady on the line had a very rude attitude explaining to me that they didn’t do cats (which is completely understandable because a lot of places don’t do cats), although i had read the general reviews and some had said how they had brought they’re cats in. I asked her about the reviews and she rudely responds with “well we don’t”. I called the vets line and they were very kind, and explained the whole package. Although i understand the grooming service, do not specialize or are in the Vetco service, i believe she could have kindly guided me to that line. Hospitality is what brings guest and animal caregivers in to trust Petcos ability to take care of my animals. I already had mixed feelings about Petco beforehand with my dog coming home with fleas after his Petco grooming appointment. I needed the nail trimming asap and wanted to give it a try, but the guest and hospitality skills were not met, and immediately chose to not go to Petco at all. To other caregivers, I would highly recommend just spearing that extra money for your fur babies with a more comfortable and clean grooming/animal service.

  I’ve never been so disgusted with Customer Service in my life. We took our dogs in for grooming and they have all of our records and they told us that they don’t have our records and the ones that they did were expired. Our dogs have been in and out of that place for the past two years. Never have I experienced anything like this or the rudeness from the grooming department. You just lost not only a vet customer but a grooming customer. And I will make sure other people know that you may treat your dogs that you groom wonderful but you treat their owners like crap! And I understand the importance of the pets having vaccinations. You’d have to be an idiot to not understand why we do that to our pets. But seriously, we’re talking about 2 to 3 days of expiration here. How about a 30 Day window in situations like this. You know as well as I do that, my dog does not have rabies because their rabies vaccination expired two days ago! And if that was going to be an issue, somebody should’ve communicated that with me before I drove out there, twice. I left out that we were rudely turned away. The first time we showed up because we were about 20 minutes early for our appointment. And it’s irrelevant at this point! Your services are no longer needed nor is your store. There are alternatives and people are going to find them as long as they’re treated like we were.

  Really disappointed with this Petco grooming experience. I was charged extra for two small mats in my dog’s ears which apparently needed 30 minutes of brushing leading to an extra charge. On top of that, jess, the groomer changed the package my dog was getting without my knowledge and just asked me to sign, which felt very misleading. When I called for clarification, Jess, was condescending and acted like my confusion was my fault. Jess also made comments about my previous groomer, who we had a great experience with, who had quit, which felt unprofessional. Overall, the lack of transparency and professionalism made this a frustrating experience and I will not be returning.
