- MMMicheleNov 26, 20253.0We frequent Petco to have both of our German Shepherd‘s bathed usually about every 6 to 8 weeks however, this experience was not as pleasant. They were short-staffed, told me when I dropped the dogs off. It would be about five hours however I got a call that the dogs were ready in three hours When I picked them up and went to load them in the car and got them home. They were both still damp, their undercoat hadn’t been completely dried. I did call back and complain. They offered to re- bath them the following day because anyone with a German Shepherd knows if they’re not completely dried they have a musty odor. I scheduled to take them back the following day, but my heart just wouldn’t let me put them through that two days in a row.so I canceled. We are scheduled to come back in December. I’m hoping it will be a better experience.
