I wish I could have the option of zero stars. We took our dog Trayler to Banfield in Kingwood due to yelping pain and unusual behaviors like U shaped posturing when you touched his right side. They said it was back/neck problems and put him on a weeks worth of pain meds. We took him back after the week and although the pain was somewhat improved, we asked if he could have imaging to see just how severe the problem was and if he needed surgery. We were told no, that was not necessary. After Trayler was off the pain meds he started getting significantly worse. I called Banfield to ask if he should have imaging and the vet wouldn't come to the phone, she said I had to make an appointment, which I did but Banfield cancelled the appt because the day of the appointment the doctor was not available. Trayer continued to decline, we took him to Blue Pearl ER. The staff was wonderful. THEY listened and did imaging. Trayler had a brain tumor. He died a week ago today. I don't know if the tumor was operable or not at the time Banfield saw him but if they had given us the courtesy of listening to our concerns there is a chance Trayler could have been correctly diagnosed and be with us today. I would suggest you not take your dog to Banfield if they need anything more than vaccines!

This vet and their wonderful staff helped us save a kitten we found in the road! We can’t thank them enough. On 5/13/25, we rushed a small kitten in after finding him on the road in front of KHS with an injured foot. They helped us stabilize the kitten without an appt and got him set up with feeding instructions and medicine. We’re so grateful. The kitten is doing great. We kept him and he’s living his best life. Thank you!!!

I’m extremely disappointed with the care my dog received here. We brought her in several times because she was clearly sick, but every visit we were told nothing was wrong. They kept prescribing pills instead of looking deeper into her symptoms. Out of desperation we went to a different hospital, and they immediately found a serious problem that required emergency surgery. If we had kept trusting this hospital, my dog’s life could have been at risk and definitely could’ve died. Other animal hospitals told us to stop taking your pets to this hospital. Please be cautious and get a second opinion if your pet isn’t improving. Also, not to mention, we already lost one dog after years of bringing him here because these people never cared enough to look deeper into our other dog’s problem.
