I have been going to Banfield for very long time with my cat twinkle and I took in a urine specimen to them on a Friday. They neglected call me and so I called them at three or so on Saturday to check her urine results. They put me on hold come back telling me to bring her in on Monday. Said she had blood in her urine and wanted her to wait until Monday to be treated so they could put a needle through her bladder to check her urine again unacceptable. Very rude people. then I went to another vet asked for my records. They neglected to send the urine test that they took on Friday and I had to call him again to get it and then it was handwritten and sent over not clear on what was wrong with her urine didn't put that she had blood in it either like they told me Dr. Washington on the phone will never go back to Banfield advise everybody not to.

I wish I could have the option of zero stars. We took our dog Trayler to Banfield in Kingwood due to yelping pain and unusual behaviors like U shaped posturing when you touched his right side. They said it was back/neck problems and put him on a weeks worth of pain meds. We took him back after the week and although the pain was somewhat improved, we asked if he could have imaging to see just how severe the problem was and if he needed surgery. We were told no, that was not necessary. After Trayler was off the pain meds he started getting significantly worse. I called Banfield to ask if he should have imaging and the vet wouldn't come to the phone, she said I had to make an appointment, which I did but Banfield cancelled the appt because the day of the appointment the doctor was not available. Trayer continued to decline, we took him to Blue Pearl ER. The staff was wonderful. THEY listened and did imaging. Trayler had a brain tumor. He died a week ago today. I don't know if the tumor was operable or not at the time Banfield saw him but if they had given us the courtesy of listening to our concerns there is a chance Trayler could have been correctly diagnosed and be with us today. I would suggest you not take your dog to Banfield if they need anything more than vaccines!

The staff is great, my kitty has been doing amazing after bringing her here. I took her previously to 2 other vets and was still sick even after their treatments. I will always bring all my pets here.

Front desk staff is extremely rude. I called for an appointment and was told by the woman they were too busy to assist me because they had more important patients to deal with in the lobby. That they were in the process of closing and discharging the days patients. Mind you this was at 3:15 on a Thursday afternoon. I've been a customer of Banfield since 2001. I am no longer a customer after this experience.
