This is ONLY reason I am giving them a two start rating and not a one. The vet was nice, but we will see how affective her Plan of Care is. If this works, I may consider raising the rating to a 3. I was provided with written prescription so I could find the best price on the medication that was provided. However, Dr Louvar has not updated the information of the vet she is affiliated with. I have now had to wait for them to approve the prescription through GoodRxforpets.com. But they will never get the approval request since her information is out of date and associated with a vet in Friendswood, Tx not Kemah. They would not answer their phone all day today, so I went to the store about 4 pm to let them know that they need to call Good RX because I was told they close at 5. I was hoping that perhaps since they had this snafu, that I could buy three - 4 tablets to start her to feeling better. Nope..... they are not even open today..... at all. Although their website states Monday through Thursday 8-5. Yet at 4 on a Thursday.... they were closed and the Petco cashier said they set their own hours. Ok. So in the mean time, I have a dog at home that is miserable because they cant stop itching and despite my efforts of seeing the vet and buying the prescription, she still cant get any relief. At this rate, I will have to go tomorrow back to the vet in hopes they will call in to GoodRXforpets.com and approve the prescription. Perhaps they will mail it out on Monday and by Wednesday, a week later, she will get some relief. And while I understand that I could have purchased my medication directly from the location for my dog, but when they charge 75 dollars for ONE of the three prescriptions, and I can get all three of them prescriptions for 30 dollars less than just one of them from GoodRX, their prices of their prescriptions are VERY high. Customer service for Petco via chat is a joke. It is not based in the United States and therefore it is difficult to understand what they are saying because English is not their primary language. And it is not customer service agent's fault. But since it is not based in America, you KNOW they are not doing anything about the complaints. It is just to make it LOOK like they are going to do something. And I don't have anything against people from other countries being used with the exception that I am sure they don't get paid well. Petco and Vetco will not be getting any more of my money.
