This place is abysmally bad. If you want to feel comfortable trusting the advice of your vet, this ain’t the place to go. My dog was having ear issues the past couple of months with continual head shaking and ear scratching. The past few months I brought him, the doctor offered to give him a $130 cytopoint shot every single time we came. Nothing remotely stronger, no other alternative stronger medicine and didn’t even offer an explanation to what was going on, he just wanted my money. Only alternative he offered was a $600 allergy test.A few weeks past and he STILL was having issues, so we ended up going to City Vet in Irving and they actually said he had a minor ear infection (which O Connor said he didn’t) and gave him stronger medicine for two weeks it was gone, AND we aren’t expected to come in every month for a shot. They also explained the WHY and sat with us, literally got at ground level with my dog, for as much as time as needed and answered any questions we had. Another thing is my dog is slightly overweight, this O Connor vet told me to buy an alternative dog food, metabolic food sold at the vets office. His weight marginally changed within a year span, plus it’s expensive. This new city vet simply suggested it largely doesn't matter what you feed your dog just feed him less. Which I did and he’s already making more progress within a month than he did in a year taking another expensive dog food that this O Connor Vet recommended. This is my experience, the vet seems overworked and optimizing his time to fit the most patients in the least amount of time. So rarely is he attempting to stay long or answer questions he’s just trying to be in and out. It was a staunch difference taking him to city vet Irving vs this place. Plus the staff is a lot nicer, no one seems like they want to be there at O Connor. Could you at least smile or greet someone with a “Hello” whenever we come in? Super disappointed to be going somewhere as long as I was not knowing the vet was giving terrible advice and terrible service. Guess you don’t know what you don’t know. I would suggest somewhere ANYWHERE else but this vet.

Honestly as a vet, they should be ashamed of themselves for their prices when people are in need.

Dr. Kang and his staff are amazing and very affordable. We have been going there for years and now drive from Arlington for our Veterinary needs.
