  I've brought my dog here several times over the years, and had done excellent work and the experience was great. However, over the last few visiits the quality and overall experience was off and not consistent, so I recently decided to switch to another groomer who is a better fit.

  Made an appointment and they refused to take him. I called over a week in advance of my desired appointment and it went to voicemail. I asked to make an appointment for today and said he had very little to no matting. They called about 4 days later and scheduled me for 1pm. They put him down for bathing only, which I was not told. Most appointments are for bath, deshed, and cleaning up matting. Sometimes a haircut. I arrived today and they literally had him down for only a bath. He had a small spot of matting behind one ear and a second small spot by his back leg. They said they couldn’t do him today and to come back Monday. It had to be today, so I am now bathing and grooming hm at home and never returning to this Petco. Additionally, he has a couple of tangles, but not actual matting. In summary, because it took them almost a week to get to my call, they were too booked for today and, instead of being honest with me, tried to get away with only a bath appointment and then refusing service today and telling me to come back Monday, a day too late. He MUST be clean for tomorrow!

  I brought my 7-pound Yorkie in for a bath and haircut and was very disappointed with the pricing. My dog had very little hair on her body, just some hair on her head and legs, so this was not an extensive grooming service. Before the appointment, I was quoted around $70, which felt reasonable. However, when I picked her up, I was charged $94 with no clear explanation for the increase. That is a significant difference, especially for a small dog with minimal grooming needs. I understand prices can vary, but I expect transparency and communication when the final cost is nearly $25 higher than the quote. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. The lack of clarity around pricing made the experience frustrating and stressful, and it has made me hesitant to return. I hope Petco can improve how quotes are honored or, at the very least, how price changes are explained to customers ahead of time.

  Very good. My dog loved his haircut. They really did a great job of shaving his hair. My stylist remove all the knots so well.
