  We booked for grooming for our dog, and when we arrived the lady said how you want the face to be done, we said please make sure its short and remove the extra hair around the eyes, and we told her the usual anti-allergenic shampoo and short hair, we went to pick her up after they sent us the message she is ready for pick up, and when we arrived nothing change! I told her are you sure you groomed her? she said oh no, I'm not a groomer and we give her only shower, we paid $60 for just a shower! I already have special shampoo at home and all the kit for my dog, I only take her for grooming, this made us very upset because she was not clear with us before we leave my dog there. She should have said that the groomer is not available and you booked for grooming, Do you like to give her a shower only! or come back in another day when the groomer is available! if you don't know how to deal with customers, why are you working in the front desk? This was not only upsetting, we left from there upset and really angry, you cheated on us! you did something we didn't ask you to do. we have been there 4 times last few months, it was not always perfect, sometimes the hair is long from the belly side, sometimes the tail is very long, the ears one is shorter than the other. I ignored small things, but this one is really made us angry. we will not go back again. and if anyone wants to take there dog there, make sure they are not going to cheat on you.

  I am forever grateful to have met our amazing groomers at Petco-Dacoma. Everyone at this grooming salon has been so caring and sweet to my fur baby, Archie. He is always excited to see his favorites and comes back looking and smelling amazing. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a groomer who truly loves what they do.

  Brought my newly rescued 2 year old Maltese mix , Bmo for a bath/haircut on December 26th with Alex, and she did AMAZING!!!!! Clean cut no nicks no weird patches nothing!!!!! this is my first tiny breed dog I’ve ever owned (especially with wavy/curly hair) but Alex was very informative with helping us groom at home, and ways to get her used to grooming visits; because we will be back every 4 weeks. bmo was also sent home with a report card detailing her behavior while with her, and that was very nice. Overall 10/10, 5 starts and will be back again!!!!! Price was definitely reasonable for grooming , and the services i received.
