    I had an awful experience at this Petco today. When I walked in, two employees were at the front—one was helping another customer, and the manager told the cashier behind the register to help me. She never even acknowledged me. Then another customer walked up and asked for help, and she immediately said 'I can help you' and walked right past me to assist him instead, completely ignoring me the whole time. The manager saw everything but just walked off without apologizing or stepping in. A few weeks ago, my grandmother, who is 80 years old, went into this same location alone and was treated just as badly. When I paid today, I said thank you, and the cashier barely muttered a thank you back or looked at me. This was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever had at a Petco, and it’s especially heartbreaking since it also happened to my elderly grandmother. I see why this business has so many one-star reviews as well lol. I will not be returning.

    I’ve been going to this Petco for a while now and before today I never had an issue. The grooming manager (curly haired young girl) was rude. I made an appointment via phone a couple days ago and spoke to the person that would be grooming our dogs. Upon arriving the grooming manager said that next time I needed to verify that the groomer would be there? Not sure what that was about as I didn’t request groomer. That is first issue which I let pass. Point 2 as she is taking in my bigger dog she chocked her and poor dog was out of breath and red eyed. Lastly what broke the camel’s back is that my smaller dog looked at her the wrong way. He didn’t bark or bite her as my son was witness to all of it. Upon that happening she said she wouldn’t take dog cause she was scared of it. Why work as a groomer if that’s the case? So I told her to give me the bigger dog back and for the papers to be destroyed since my signature had been received and she pulled them from my hand. So the issue I have is why have a clueless person doing this work?!!! She does not know about customer service nor care of animals. Furthermore, she wasted my time. I had to schedule time for someone to help me with sick husband to do this appointment. Petco has had better people in grooming. This girl didn’t have a clue and right now I’m also disappointed in manager there cause he didn’t offer me any solutions. Instead they prefer to lose a customer. To other customers coming in be weary and don’t take your furry babies there!!!

    I wasn't impressed with how much effort an employee put into avoiding me yesterday morning. She first appeared with the cart to feed and water first the birds then reptiles though when I first walked up she disappeared for a while until after I'd wandered the store and came back. I didn't see anyone else other than the groomer and cashier until a girl showed up to chat with the sinlge worker. I was trying to give her a moment to decide she had reached a good stopping point to help me, but I was not a priority. She didn't have a problem stopping to stand with the new girl at her work cart though, talking about being asked to come in on a day off, and continuing to avoid even looking at me continuing to walk that side of the building, trying not interrupt actual work yet trying to be acknowledged. The new fish shipment was still boxed and waiting in a cart too, not even floating to acclimate for unbagging. The cart was parked in front of the feeder fish tank where a loan comet goldfish was dead on the floor, still soft yet not alive to try returning to the tank. I would have bought that 75% off tarantula too, if I'd actually been helped. I gave up after at least 20-30 minutes and left with the only other pet store on the way home was that new company, Pet Super Market, so I now have a rewards account with them and the feeder fish I needed. They managed to help me plus 2 other people with only 1 associate in the entire place that actually checked on us as soon as they knew we were there.

    We got our fur baby groomed by Red I believe the name was. One nail from every paw was not trimmed. It started going into my baby’s paw pads on the bottom of her foot, to were it was hurting her to walk. When we came back to get her nails retrimmed, the manager Tracy refused to listen to my husband and I, continually gas lighting us, blaming it on our fur baby instead of her groomer, who was in the wrong. blaming it on our baby’s behavior when our baby has never had an issue at the groomers.When the groomer that trimmed her nails this time came out after trimming our baby’s nails, she then proceeded to tell the manager Tracy everything that my husband and I were explaining, saying Red did not trim those nails. We will not be coming back to this Petco groomer after the way Tracy treated us.

    Staff is rude and liers ! I took teddy there and paid for his face trimming but then I picked him up and saw his face was not trimmed up and still had black spots like he wasn’t even showered and when I called they lied to me ! He’s been going there for 3 years but lately having bad experiences! All staff is untrained or new ! Won’t be going there no more nor will recommend friends or family ! Bad experience and liers
