- GDGi DDec 19, 20252.0Reason for my low rating is due to a unpleasant experience I had this week with grooming. I arrived early to the store on Wednesday, I was the first one there yet one of the groomers had her appointments paperwork ready. So that meant that person was attended before me even though I was first in line. Usually when my pup is groomed, it never takes long because she has short hair and also my pup does really well throughout the service. So on this day, me and my pup had a flight to catch, I first asked the groomer that was there about the VIP service offered as on the menu and website, then asked if she thinks that my pup can be finished in an hour and a half (again my pup is always finished before that time). First her demeanor was rude and impatient. According to her, the VIP is no longer available. She went on to say “with your groomer I don’t know”. She kept pushing it on the groomer that was running late btw, “your groomer” was not the professional thing to say. The way she was speaking about the groomer was as if they weren’t working for the same establishment. She offered zero empathy and displayed that she cared about taking care of me. I then went back to ask if my pup can at least get her nails cut in an hour and a half and again, she attended the person behind me before I was able to ask her my question about the nails. She didn’t even answer that question cause she said I’m going to have to wait for the groomer I had the appointment with….. The groomer clearly cared to attend those people that she was familiar with, her responses gave off sarcasm, she didn’t care! And I didn’t go in there demanding to have the quick service but at least show me that you care to help me. The retail store itself is great and the manager there is amazing and very caring, but this one bad experience is going to keep me from going back there for grooming services.
