6 1/2 hours for 1 vaccine. Nurses & doctors do not know what they’re doing, do not trust them with your pets. I waited over 6 hours for my kitten to get a second dosage of the FVRCP vaccine, I called twice and never got an estimate of how much longer it would be but was told that I’d get a call back, I’ve been told before that the earlier you drop off your pet the sooner they’re ready well I took Tiki at 8:30am and picked her up at 3pm. I never got a call saying she was ready, I went for Tiki whether or not she got the vaccine, as soon as we arrived she had coincidentally received the vaccine! I was also told she got an ear flush and the RABIES shot (I did not pay for the rabies shot or the ear flush I only paid what I went there for) Tiki is just over 9 weeks, cats get the Rabies shot from 12-16 weeks (which the nurse confirmed herself when I asked), she is too young to receive the Rabies vaccine she can have major side effects. I had visited Banfield three times prior this visit and every nurse I’ve dealt with has texted me or called me regarding anything in addition she might need. No communication between the Rabies shot is a serious issue. When I asked why she got it- the nurse said “because she thought I had the wellness plan” the nurse or doctor that has my kittens life in her hands read her documents wrong and gave her a vaccine I never asked for or was let known of. This was my last time going to any Banfield location.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
