- MLMan LeiApr 10, 20261.0I have been a loyal customer of PetSmart for over 10 years, purchasing health products and receiving related services for my dog. For the past decade, I have trusted this store and entrusted my beloved dog's health care needs to them, remaining a loyal long-term customer. However, recently, I have become extremely uncomfortable and disappointed with the store's service quality and business practices, and I can no longer maintain my previous trust. Therefore, I am writing this negative review to expose the problems and warn other pet-owning families. Ten years of trust have only resulted in repeated disappointments and unpleasant customer experiences. I can no longer trust this store to provide safe and professional healthcare services for my dog, and I will never set foot in this store again. I will also tell all my pet-owning friends about this terrible experience and warn them to choose this store carefully.

They love my dog and want the very best for her. I have been on their Care Plus plan for 4 years. I always renew as it pays for itself and so much more. - CLCarl LiDec 26, 20251.0Take caution when going to this vet hospital. Their price point is far greater than other vet clinics/hospitals near by. They will convince you to sign up for their wellness plan that requires monthly installments to save money on their very expensive vet services. If you try to cancel the wellness plan, then you must pay the remaining monthly installments in FULL or pay the original price of the vet services you got. This is pure greed hidden in terms and conditions, that at the time, I didn't have a chance to read because my cat was experiencing major discomfort from respiratory inflammation. Read the fine print before you agree to anything with this place.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
