  Stood waiting for 45min. Heard staff just chit chatting a laughing the whole time I was waiting. Extremely unhelpful with no guidance. Had to ask my own question on how my prescription works. Don’t recommend coming to this location

  I took my son's dog, Maya to the Banfield Pet Hospital on the Katy Freeway at Fry Rd today for her comprehensive physical and shots with blood work. DR. O examined Maya in one of the examining rooms so I could stay with Maya. DR. O was absolutely THE BEST. She took the time for Maya to get comfortable with her. She spoke softly and calmly to Maya and totally won Maya over. Maya does not like anyone she doesn't know infringing on her space. Dr. O gave Maya the time to decide she could trust her. I wish Dr. O was a permanent member of the staff at this clinic ... she is excellent.

  Most of the staff is professional and courteous. However, Dr. Travares Heath’s behavior towards me was beyond unprofessional over the phone. He raised his voice while on the phone with me which was completely unwarranted given I was not raising my voice. Also, when I expressed that due to his behavior, I did not feel comfortable with my pet being in his care, he hung up in my face. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a medical professional. Emotional reactions and outbursts should never occur with clients. We all have bad days; however when you are in a customer service profession (or any other profession), you should always maintain a calm and respectful tone and be able to effectively manage your own emotions.

  Special thanks to Christopher Chavez for helping me out on a prescription of our Siberian cat. He knew what he was doing and guided me through the process. The minute he repeated the name of our pet on the phone call, I knew at that very moment that I’m talking to the right person. Thank you again for being thorough, helpful and understanding.   I took my pet multiple times for not eating and declining energy. Was only told she's a picky eater and took my money each time for tests performed. I decided to get a second opinion from a different vet, turns out she had a high fever and urinary infection for about a WEEK. My dog could've died suffering because of banfields negligence. Think twice before taking your fur baby here, they only care about money. Cancelling the wellness plan as soon as possible.
