- LSLisa ShermanApr 8, 20265.0I have been bringing my fur babies here for 13+years. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. The doctors are so great with my very anxious shepherd. Have been on the wellness plan for years. Affordable, comes with extra perks. Definitely recommend. Only thing I can complain about which I know Banfield has no control over is some of the costumers are flat out rude. Yes I have a big dog, yes I have my dog 100% under my control, I do not appreciate snarky comments from small dog owners repeatedly hollering at me “ do you have him! Do you have him” and the best I could muster was “yes I have HER” And then turn and complain to anyone that will listen to her about “big dogs shouldn’t be scheduled the same time as little dogs” Guess she forgot she was at a vet appointment where hello, other animals are going to be there. I can control my big dogs on a leash vs a small dog just sitting in your pocket no leash. SMDH rude is just everywhere now a days.

I was in an important meeting and had to disrupt it to answer the final call and ultimately ended up snapping. I finally scheduled an appointment - specifically mentioning the reason for the visit being the cysts on one of my dogs. By the end of the visit, that point was not addressed. When I mentioned it, I was told I could get an ointment for it. Ultimately, I felt that her needs were not met. Additionally, two appointments for dental cleanings following the visit were booked - without my knowledge.

- AHAkasha HowertonFeb 7, 20262.0We use this clinic for years and in the last 6 months it has been extremely frustrating. Trying to cancel a wellness plan, forget about it. They charge you money to cancel. I do not recommend this clinic and definitely do not sign up for a plan. They will reschedule your appointments and then they will make you wait for an hour after scheduled appointment.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
