Alta Palmas Animal Clinic I’m extremely disappointed with how my most recent experience was handled after being a loyal customer for over 20 years and spending thousands of dollars on care for my pets. I missed my appointment and called to apologize when I realized I was 45 minutes late. I took full responsibility and was told it was “not a problem” and that we would simply reschedule. Despite that, I was still charged a $30 fee, with no consideration for my long-standing history as a client. What made this worse was my follow-up conversation with an attendant named Brooke. At no point did she ask if there was anything they could do to keep my business or acknowledge my loyalty. Instead, she immediately sent me my dog’s records and suggested I could go elsewhere. That response was surprising and frankly disappointing after two decades of trust and support. I understand policies exist, but how situations are handled matters just as much. This interaction felt dismissive and transactional rather than patient- and client-focused. I expected better from a clinic I’ve relied on for so many years. And yes I paid the $30 fee. John Canales

For the animals it is a great place. It is my 1st time here. The staff I give them zero stars. From the moment I came in, there was confusion. We were greeted just fine. We are here to pick up our dog. Some how the clerk got confused. She asked for more information. I had to step in and say: I am here to pick up my dog. The clerk was totally confused. She even asked what's going on. A male employee stepped in and said they are here to pick up. That's when her brain began to function. I feel retraining is needed through out the year and when highly required. No one should have to go through that.
