  Honestly, my grooming experience was very unprofessional. I understood that my dog would have a short haircut, but I never expected them to cut him to the point of hurting his testicles.😭 I asked for a “teddy bear” cut since he is a doodle, but they couldn’t even properly trim his face. On top of that, it took about 4 hours just to have him come out almost completely shaved. I paid around $100 for a service that ended up being disappointing and concerning. If you’re going to cut the hair short, at least do it evenly and with care, without hurting sensitive areas. They didn’t even apply any finishing touches like perfume. This was definitely my first and last time using this service.

  I’m not usually one to complain, but I’m currently 8 months pregnant and considered high-risk, so I rely on curbside pickup for convenience, especially when purchasing heavy items like dog food that I’m unable to carry to my car myself. My partner is often away for the Air Force, so I don’t always have the option of sending him inside. I’ve now tried to use curbside pickup at this Petco twice, and both times were extremely frustrating. The first time, earlier in my pregnancy, no one ever came out, so I eventually went inside and grabbed the order myself despite the inconvenience. Today, the same thing happened again. I waited 40 minutes in the curbside spot, and no one ever came out with my order. I eventually had to call my husband and ask him to come to pick it up for me because I physically cannot carry the dog food myself right now. When he went inside, he said there were three employees standing around, and the only response he received was, “Oh, sorry, dude.” I’m honestly confused about why curbside pickup is even offered if customers are left waiting indefinitely with no assistance or way to contact someone for help. For people who genuinely rely on this service.. whether due to pregnancy, disability, or other limitations? it makes a huge difference. Thankfully my partner happened to still be in town until Tuesday, or I would have had no choice but to cancel the order and go without until I could find someone to help me pick it up. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially considering curbside services are meant to help customers who can’t easily come inside.
