- AJAriana JimenezMar 20, 20261.0I recently adopted a shelter dog who had heartworms and completed his treatment through Vetco. I was told by the vet that he is cleared for normal activities, including grooming. I also confirmed this with a manager (Teresa) at this location. However, when I brought my dog in for a basic bath, the groomers refused service, saying it wasn’t safe despite him being off medication and cleared by both a vet and management. No alternative solution or accommodation was offered. As a Vital Care member, I pay monthly specifically for grooming discounts, so it’s frustrating to not be able to use those benefits due to conflicting information within the same store. I understand safety is important, but better communication and consistency between staff would go a long way. I hope this can be improved so other pet owners don’t run into the same issue.

She was so good with her customers... they weren't fighting her & she didn't get flustered. She's been terrific with our golden doodle. I think he obeys her better than me!

Then after they did this, they asked for me to schedule the next appointment my husband and I was so upset we paid and left.
