Grant and Alex Huff have a combined 35 years experience training dogs to an advanced level for AKC hunt tests, duck hunting, and obedience. They both grew up in East Texas with a love for duck hunting and dogs, which eventually led them to a career working with dogs of all breeds. They love seeing dogs reach their full potential and bridging the knowledge gap between clients and their pets. Unlike many trainers, Grant and Alex do all of the training themselves, from start to finish. This ensures each dog is getting the most out of their time at One Shot Retrievers. Furthermore, they will spend a significant amount of time helping owners understand how to fairly correct and handle their dog once they take them home. Luna was a scared little puppy that came from a kennel and didn’t really know much other than following her pack. She has now blossom and bloomed, and such a short time. She understands what it is to go potty to have manners, and to have a set scheduled eating time. He has patience, which is the most important thing you can have. When you’re working with dogs.
