Terrible practice. Extremely rude staff that hangs up on customers requesting a call from a dr. Incredibly long wait times. Doctors don't want to provide approvals for common heartworm medications without a visit (the animal has been there for frequent check ups throughout the year). Avoid this place and go to a real vet.

North Fort Worth Alliance Location. This is the 1st pet hospital we’ve brought our Siberian Husky (Kobe) for routine visits since moving to Texas 2yrs ago. First visit or 2 the service and experience were good. We even became members and have been for the last year. Recently a couple months ago we brought Kobe to be seen for dripping urine around the house. We were told a urine analysis was done and he had a UTI. We payed an exam fee I believe and for prescriptions recommended by the vet. We were told follow the directions and finish out the prescriptions. After 2 weeks no improvement was made. We returned and at that visit we were told we needed to renew our membership that was coming up or we’d have to pay for the next urine analysis (1 free test yearly). We renewed the membership and another test was performed where we were told the UTI was still present and needed more medication to resolve. We again paid for the visit and prescriptions recommended and to no avail there was no improvement. We called again (2-3-26) to get Kobe seen and this time requested to speak with the manager to resolve this issue since our house has now begun to smell like a litter box. Never received a call! We were told the manger was unavailable and to seek 2nd opinion with one of the other vets. We were given an appt for later that day 1:30pm. My fiancée arrives (expect to wait) and we were seen by another doctor. We were advised again it’s still a UTI. Another test was requested at the cost of $180. At the time again we requested to speak with the manager as we feel the issue isn’t being taken seriously and feel we’re being given the run around. Manager again was not available to speak. We spend monthly fees to be a member at this location and pay visit fees and prescriptions recommended to us. We simply were looking for help and honestly some accountability from someone, as we’re spending money and looking for better results. As the doctor put it during the visit…we’re not wasting money. If that’s the case we’d see results and improvement. Instead we’re back to square one and dealing with the same issue after hundreds of dollars spent. In the future if the customer is disappointed with the service and experience, some attentiveness and care would go a long way.

The front desk staff and vet techs are friendly and treated my dog well that's about where the friendliness ended. My dog has very bad allergies to grass and had gotten 2 infections in about 3 months, the first time they prescribed him antifungals for about 2 weeks but the second time they prescribed him 3 daily pills, daily showers with antifungal shampoo, and mometamax for 30 days. Little did we know mometamax is a steroid typically not used for that long, since his infection was deep we ended up using 3 bottles over the course of the month (which the vet prescribed) by the end of the month his skin was insanely dry i mean his skin on his stomach and chest completely replaced itself coming off in sheets. We would've refrained from using it as much of the vet actually took the time to explain his recommendations but each time we were notified we could pick up our dog we were met with very frantic phone conversations with industry lingo that got us confused with little time to come up with questions. The conversations were short and limited to pricing rather than the issue at hand of why he had an infection, preventatives, and explanations. No vet we had met in the 5 years there took the time to fully explain anything they prescribed and we never met a vet face to face at any given time only over the phone for less than 5 minutes. Not to mention each time we would take our dog for a simple check up he would be there for at LEAST 5 hours with no food or water it seems as he was always very thirst and hungry by the time we got him back. 1/10 would NOT recommend.

I always feel like I’m being robbed here. How do I leave with a $700 bill with pet insurance? That’s after spending $400 a month ago
