- ULUlrike LorelloApr 10, 20262.0I have been a customer at the Euless Banfield for many years with several different dogs and was mostly always pleased with the service I received for my pets. However, on my last visit April 06 2026 I experienced a very negative visit. My dog was in for several different tests to determine what caused her persistent cough! She was treated by Dr. Todd Ecklund. When I went to pick up my pet Dr. Ecklund ridiculed me for making my own dogfood and told me in strong words that he was no friend of that because in his opinion it was not balanced. He also prescribed meds for her heart and liver which is fine but he also insisted on several other prescriptions which I found unnecessary. He has a very negative way of talking to customers and I’m really contemplating whether I need to switch vets. This was my first encounter with him and hopefully the last!

When Cookie 🍪 was having trouble walking or jumping, Mr. George's expertise and compassion were instrumental in reassuring us. His follow-up call was a thoughtful gesture that showcased his commitment to the pets. Unfortunately, my experiences with other Banfield locations, such as the one in Hurst, Texas, have been less than satisfactory. - JTJ TNov 30, 20211.0Still getting threatening letters. This pkace is crooked - do NOT go here. Laura keeps insisting I paid for a plan I did not and have not ever signed up for payments. I breed dogs, I have always paid in full in advance as records show. So now I am being threatened with collections if I do not pay what they want. I get told to call corp then corp tells me to call location... endless run around. Stear clear of this place. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. 3-29-25

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
Does Banfield Pet Hospital provide emergency care services?
