- GCGriselle ColonOct 25, 20251.0I had an appointment at 8 AM for a drop-off. My daughter brought my dog in, and I specifically told the staff that he hadn’t eaten breakfast yet and asked them to please feed him in the cage. I also mentioned that I had left a blanket there from our last visit and asked that they place it in the cage with him for comfort. When I came back to pick up my dog, there was no line — it wasn’t busy at all. Yet they were just feeding him as I arrived, clearly trying to make it seem like they had already taken care of it. It doesn’t take 10 minutes to hand me my dog, and when I checked, my blanket was folded and not even placed in the cage with him. I’m really frustrated and disappointed. If you ask the staff to do anything extra for your pet, they simply won’t. It feels like they don’t care. This will be my last time coming here. I’ve been to Banfield locations in other states, and they never neglect the dogs the way this one does.

She explained everything so well and did a thorough exam of my cat and discussed pros and cons of further diagnostics and treatment. Easy communication Ability to run labs in house and quickly Great vet techs - wish I remembered their names, there was both a male and female and they were very sweet with us (myself and young daughter) and my cat Transparent pricing disclosure Clear follow-up instructions CONS: Nothing that affected me personally. Since Banfield is a corporate machine it is not normally where I would choose care, but I had high recommendations for Dr Goodman and they were spot on. Bottom line despite my usual reservations about a corporately owned place, I will continue to take my dear girl to Dr Goodman as long as she's with me this side of the rainbow bridge.

When she became a member of our family I took her to Banfield and explained the situation. She was treated with love, care and respect. She is now very loving and social. What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
