Vet was patient and informative and answered all questions. Plus, they provide a pharmacy food card for his RX food. Urinary CD. I am still happy with primary vet but no hesitation on making this my primary vet or urgent care. There was no pressure for labs, diagnostics. They got my medical records from current vet. No issues. I will see them in 6 months for follow up.

Over the years, they have cared for three of my beloved companions: the late, great Pedee, Rocco (who first brought me to Banfield as a puppy), and Arges The One-Eyed Wonder. Before finding Banfield, I tried several vets around Dallas and was never fully satisfied. Too often, other clinics nickel-and-dimed me, sometimes even charging me for services they asked if they could perform “because they enjoyed it,” making it seem like I was doing them a favor by agreeing. By contrast, Banfield is completely transparent. They always let me know upfront what my cost will be and never hesitate to call if any additional services are needed. That honesty and respect have built my trust over the years. Another reason this location stands out is their compassion and understanding. Unlike other vets I’ve visited, who reprimanded me when I asked to have prescriptions forwarded to more affordable suppliers like 1-800-PetMeds or Chewy, the staff here understood my situation. They know I am a school teacher and not highly paid, and to my pleasant surprise, the first time they offered (without me even asking) to send my prescriptions to a cheaper source I knew they were a keeper. That kind of thoughtfulness and empathy meant the world to me and showed me that they truly care about both pets and the people who love them. The staff always greets us with genuine warmth and excitement, treating me like family and my dogs like celebrities. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure my boys are healthy, comfortable, and happy. The quality of care, professionalism, and compassion at this Banfield are unmatched. Whether it’s routine visits, follow-ups, or unexpected needs, I know my pets are in the best possible hands. After 15 years, I can confidently say this team has earned my complete trust and loyalty. What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
