Had over an hour wait with two other customers and let to other customers that they are sorry for the wait but not me. Put 1 of 2 customers who came after me ahead of me and let them know they are cleaning his room. Somehow I’m last with a pissy room. My skin is my SIN

Very convenient at CVS in Cypress. Not too crowded. Employees were very nice and professional. On a Saturday morning, much easier than taking off work to go to the vets office during the week. Prices have gone up since last year, but still less expensive than an office visit. Can get all your pet meds here too.

EDITING MY REVIEW! At the beginning of the year, I left a great review after our first visit to Banfield. Our cat went from healthy to scratching her face raw and bloody(due to some kind of allergy) within a few weeks of adopting her. We were desperate when we took her here, and we were excited when after our first visit it felt like she was improving quickly. So I left a very excited grateful review... which now I want to change. Fast-forward now to 9 months later. Our visits here were a quick temporary relief. They would give our cat steroids and antibiotics every time we went and she would improve quickly... but the effects disappeared just as quickly. We found ourselves with no real answers (they just agreed to what we thought could be, fleas or food allergy.), no specifics of what was wrong with her, and expensive once a month visits. This was our monthly process. We went to the vet with a pitiful bloody face cat. They charged us for a temporary fix that lasted a 7 to 10 days, and told us we had to wait a whole month for the next visit. So, of course, the rest of the month our cat was back to scratching her face raw. Almost $200 for only a week of relief. After the third or fourth visit we gave up. We decided to try to find a solution on our own. We didn't want a quick halfass fix. We wanted our cat to be healthy and happy again. It really broke our heart to see her hurting and itching and be able to do nothing. Specially since no vet told us what she had. "Could be X or Y or Z" is not a diagnosis. Specially when all those things are things we did suggest in our first visit. So we already knew that. So, we researched a lot, and tried a couple of antihistamines used for cats with allergies, and within a couple of weeks our cat started to improve. She rarely has any more flare ups. In the end, Google was way more useful than Banfield. They wanted us to go and pay every month, but never even suggested to put our cat on antihistamines which would have been a better solution, but of course they wouldn't get paid as much for giving us a prescription, as for having us there ever month to get shots. I cannot wait until our one year contract for pet health insurance rans out so we can cancel it. No sense in paying for this kind of service.
