Our two boys love going to see Dr Schultz and the team at Banfield. 1. They are very spoiled with treats. 2. They are so well taken care of. 3. The wellness plans work with our budget so our dogs are healthy AND we can save money. I've never had dogs that got excited to go to the vet, but here we are. Thanks to the Banfield team for taking care of our boys.

A complete waste of money for years. I have taken my dog to Banfield multiple times for a skin condition. Every time I go there, it's $250 - $350 plus, and nothing has worked. Then these clowns want to charge another $260 plus to cancel. Absolutely not!!! Banfield will not get another penny from me. I would leave zero stars if I could, but to post and show how terrible it is, I have to put at least one star.

After taking our boys here for years, unfortunately they have gone downhill and we will be moving to a different vet. Our two dogs don’t get sick often so we only come in maybe a few times a year. Idk if it’s a horrible work environment or if they just don’t pay well but every single time it seems there is a new vet and we have to “establish a patient relationship” all over again and they use this as an excuse to not help. For example: I called today asking if they could do us a small favor. I am going to have double foot surgery and will be out for 3 months. I did not want my dog’s heartworm to lapse, so I requested a refill through Chewy. Banfield rejected the rx request because they wanted a new negative test. Which is fine, so I planned to get the heartworm test done through the Vangard low-cost mobile vet to save a $65 visit fee and $55 heartworm test from Banfield. Vangards heartworm rx prices were slightly higher for the same brand that we get from Banfield via Chewy. I asked them if they would send in the rx if we provided the negative test from Vangard. They refused bc they once again had a new vet so we didn’t have a “patient relationship” and so we had to “establish” for the 4th or 5th time. I told them the circumstances, and that we have been there for years, a they had originally told me they only rejected the rx refill because they wanted a new negative test.. They still wouldn’t help. This isn’t the first money grab from them. My dog had a dry cough once and I called asking if dogs can take regular Benadryl. They refused to answer my question over the phone and had me bring him in, pay $55 just to tell me to give him Benadryl😑 They no longer care about being there for you and your pet, just about caring for the revenue you bring in. No fee=no help. Our new vet wasn’t shocked that we were coming from Banfield, it seems that they have a reputation. I debated putting in a complaint but I doubt they even care since we all know how corporate greed is. I’m only writing this as a warning to other pet parents.
