Here’s what happened: I walked in expecting the advertised $85 grooming deal. After weighing my dog, they suddenly raised the price to $120. Then they insisted on an additional VIP service for $20, explaining that nails weren’t included because my dog is large, which meant another $20 charge. With taxes, the total came to $180—an amount that felt completely unreasonable. What really bothered me was Izzy’s attitude. As someone who works with pets at Petco, I expected patience and professionalism. Instead, her tone was dismissive and unwelcoming, making the whole experience unpleasant.
