- BRBrooke RaschkeJan 12, 20261.0My dog Ranger has been going to Banfield since 2018. Today I canceled our plan. We brought him in because he was sick. We were charged a lot of money and they sent him home with poop all over his butt. We didn’t bring him in that way. They need to treat people’s pets as their own. I am so disappointed and can’t believe they treat people’s pets like that.

Him and I believe her name is Melinda ( sorry I forgot your name I was just in shock of what was happening to leelah) were so amazing, comforting, and patient during this time. Dr. Gardner- thank you so much for being there today and taking your time to say a prayer over us and our fur baby Leelah. I can’t even express how much that meant to me. It gave me such comfort. Y’all made this difficult time so much more comforting. Leelah was in amazing hands and we thank you. God bless y’all. 🩷🩷

- SMSusan McCrackenNov 12, 20255.0We take all three of our dogs to Bsnfield and have taken our other dogs over the last 10 years to them. They are great with my furry family. The staff treats us with respect and kindness, and they are amazing with all of our dogs. We took our girl Rlsa in for her monthly allergy shot and she is a "nervous nelly", but the staff treats her gently and handled her beautifully. Elsa used to be on Apiquel, which gave her some ugly side effects, I spoke with Dr. Gardener about it, and he promptly changed Elsa to the Cytopoint injection. As a result Elsa has no side effects, Thatcher as bad as the allergies, and she's back to being playful and sassy! She goes in monthly for the shot and just to make sure she checks out ok, she's a senior dog. Thank you Banfield!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

What preventive pet health care services does Banfield offer?
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

• Behavioral Counseling
• Comprehensive Examinations
What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
