- CMCrystal MartinezApr 1, 20263.0DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SENIOR PLAN BEFORE READING THIS!!! This review is ONLY for their Wellness Plan and how utterly disgusted I am with this service. The only reason I am not giving a 1-star is that the staff and Vets are wonderful there. I have been part of their wellness plan for a few years and had no issues with it until I switched over to the senior plan. READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOU SIGN!!!! Literally two weeks later, my senior dog passed suddenly. It was unexpected, and her passing came out of nowhere. I had called to Cancel my subscription, and this was what they said… 1. You sign up for the year, meaning you cannot cancel at all. Even if you call their number and tell them that your dog died two weeks after you signed up. I was told I still had to pay the remaining balance, which was over $900. 2. I asked if I could switch it to another owner, and they stated I could not. Not even to another dog (such as offering to use It for a senior dog at a rescue facility) 3. The person I spoke with with had no empathy at all. Just stated I was required to pay the remaining balance. No offer to even try to see if they can speak to their hire ups to see if there was a way to cancel without having to pay the $900. I researched online and found out that I had not been the only one who was a victim to this. So please, I caution you on signing up for this program and don't end up like me.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
